Cane sugar is manufactured from the juice of sugar cane. The ripe stalks are pressed and the juice that is released is naturally filtered and evaporated. Unrefined cane sugar is then obtained naturally by crystallising. The sugar is then centrifuged to separate the crystal from the excess molasses. This way it does not lose any of its important nutritive components that are unique to sugar cane.
